ALANA O'CALLAGHAN

Alana has been working in the industry for over 18 years. She has experience in many areas of Occupational Therapy from Community and Occupational Rehabilitation, Acute hospital settings, and Inpatient rehabilitation.
Alana has a particular interest in the intervention areas of seating and positioning, complex wheelchair prescription, hoist prescription and training and complex home modifications.
Having worked in Australia and the UK, Alana has extensive experience in working with a diverse group of people and a variety of conditions and enjoys the challenge of applying her clinical skills to assist clients in achieving their goals.
Alana focuses on a client-centered, holistic approach when working with her clients and enjoys helping people overcome challenges presented at home and at work.
Alana has a special interest in neurological conditions, complex physical disabilities and aged care.
LAURA GALLAGHER

Laura has over 17 year’s experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Laura is experienced in providing assessments and interventions for adults with complex needs following illness, injury or disability.
Laura has a special interest in complex home modifications and the use of adaptive equipment to maximise function and to support the achievement of personal goals.
Laura is passionate about working with clients to ensure that decision making is collaborative, and individually tailored. She regularly works with clients in both home and work-based settings to modify the environment and equipment used.
Laura takes a personal approach to understanding people’s needs so that solutions are meaningful and valued.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing supports for Australians with disabilities, their families and carers. The NDIS will allow people with a permanent and significant disability under the age of 65 to access necessary services and supports and recieve reasonable funding.
